We’ve been busy here at Crowdpurr for the first few months of 2020. Mostly tying up loose ends from new updates that were schedule for fourth quarter 2019. But we’ve managed to add a few new note-worthy features while continuing to work toward some larger updates that we’ll be revealing soon.

Question Importing (and Exporting) with Excel and Google Sheets

Question Importing works with Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel

You can now import your Poll or Trivia Game’s questions and answers from an Excel or Google Sheets spreadsheet! Yes, you can also use Apple Numbers or any of your other favorite spreadsheet programs.

What’s more!? We’ve made this a Classroom Plan feature as well. So all users who upgrade to any of our premium plans will gain access to this feature.

Additionally, you can now export your questions and answers back out to a spreadsheet for archiving or sync’ing up a working spreadsheet to updates that were made in the app. Then update the export and re-import it back in.

While we were at it, we also added the much-requested Question Shuffling capability as well. To easily shuffle your Poll or Trivia Game’s questions in a random order.

For more detailed instructions on how to use this feature, check out our Help Desk article Importing Questions from a Spreadsheet.

Our Free Basic Plan Is Now More Powerful

The Crowdpurr Free Basic Plan Feature List

We added more power and capability to our free Basic Plan. We’ve raised the Participant Limit from fifteen to twenty. And we’ve raised the Question Limit from three to ten.

This means you can now create a three-round Trivia Game with each round having up ten questions from our 100% original Trivia Database (or write your own questions) for up to twenty participants spread over any number of teams… for free!
